Kibirigwi Farmers Co-operative Society Ltd is a coffee farmers cooperative serving members around Kibirigwi, Kiine and Kirinyaga County. The society supports factory communication, coffee production, member services and quality-focused handling of cherry and Mbuni.

History
Kibirigwi F.C.S Ltd. is located on the Nairobi - Nyeri Highway, in
Kirinyaga County and Kirinyaga West Sub – county, 250 km from
Nairobi. The Co-operative Society was registered in 1953 under
Co-operative Act in the ministry of Co-operative Development
and marketing with members only. It is engaged in production,
processing and marketing of Coffee as their main activity. The
main objective of the society is to promote the welfare and
economic interest of its members in accordance with the cooperative laws. It comprises of 8 wet mills (known as factories)
i.e. Ragati, Nguguini, Mukangu, Thunguri, Kianjege, Chema,
Kiangai and Kibigoti. The management board is comprised of 8
elected members, one from each of the 8 factories.
